Sennheiser e 835 Stand and Cable Package

I'm writing this because as crunchguy stated, the 1 Star is totally not accurate. There's an adapter inside, take it out. But seriously, I've bought this combo in August 2013, I'm writing this in August 2019, have used my mic very frequently for 100's of shows, and guess what???? I still use it and it sounds as good as the day I bought it. I've been waiting to get the e935 but if it ain't broke, why fix it!!! The stand I no longer have, but the mic is the focal point of this deal... I love it!!! At first, the fact that it doesn't have an on/off switch kinna was gonna be a deal break, however when set up properly , you get no feedback or buzz or white noise, it's a great mic. Just saying. Lol. Keep on rocking!!! SAS!!!

Whoever gave this package a 1 star rating was very inexperienced. I had to write this because I knew EXACTLY why he wrote that and I laughed. Practically every mic clip comes with a brass insert that can be removed to accept standard USA mic stands. The insert has been used overseas where their stands have a different mount. You can use a screwdriver or coin (Quarter etc) to unscrew the insert.

I am totally disappointed with Guitar Center's Sennheiser e835, stand and cable package. I elected to purchase Guitar Center's package on the expectation that Guitar Center took the responsibility to ensure the compatibility of the items making up the package. The Sennheiser e835 mic holder is not compatible with the mic stand included by Guitar Center in the package.

I own Shure Sm58's and this is on par but is actually louder than the Shure sm58. They ran out of the sm58's so I gave this a test run. Man what a powerful mic! It does have some high pitch feedback but adjusting the volume and the position eliminates it. Overall quality is superb and comercial grade. Cant go wrong with this mic at all and is worth every penny. I use this on a Bose compact L1 and on any amp I have and it works perfectly. This is a lelad singers mic for sure as it cuts through.
