It's decent, but definitely not top of the line sennheiser. I am a mobile DJ and got this for smaller gigs where a good mic is not important. It works ok, but nothing like the G4 or G3. O. A scale tofro. 1-10 I'll give it a 6. Simple build , but easy to use. I am thinking your are paying for the name here not quality.

If the price of the ew100 g4 is a little too high, especially when multiple mics are needed. This is a great alternative, and sounds fantastic. The cost of the ew100 may be worth it for more durable mic body build if the mics will travel frequently or be used by lots of different people.

Works great, this is the second one I have purchased. The sale price is what was the determining factor for this purchase.

How do I turn of the RF mute? When there is no signal going to the mics, static will sometimes transmit through instead.

When connecting the mic to a mixer using a XLR cable should the switch on the back be on mic or line?

It should be on mic if you're using a mic. If you're using the body pack that they have for an instrument wireless transmitter that's what you use the line setting.
