This thing is beautiful. Chimy and pretty, but will also overdrive harder than you expect. I fell in love with lipsticks mostly for how they look, and it's great that this fits a standard single coil shape. So charming and vintage looking. I'm gonna pair mine with a TV Jones filtertron pup! #sweepstakes

I've never been much of a SD pickup user in the past but I am now a believer in his products. I installed 3 of these pups in a strat copy guitar and now it oozes vintage tone and is dead quiet. I had trouble finding the RWRP pup for the middle position so I just went with all 3 the same and it still sounds great. I will only use these in my strat style guitars from now on and I have tried pretty much every single coil pickup out there that has ever been made. They ARE that good in my opinion. They foot the bill nicely for country and classic rock. If you are a metal player, they may not be for you. These have impressed me soooo much that I purchased the SD STK-T2 black bridge pickup to HOT ROD my VB Classic Vibe 50's Tele. Check out my STK-T2 pup review.

I put this pickup in the center position of my Strat, In the neck position I have A Seymour Duncan Jazz Humbucker, And in the bridge position I have A seymour Duncan Screamin Demon Humbucker. The sound of this pickup is awesome, vintage, one of a kind sound. When combined with the Jazz pickup on a Boss blues pedal-The tone and sustain is amazing. Highly recommend!!
