A faithful reproduction of Leo Fender's 1957 dual-coil pickup design. Same hand-fabricated forbon bobbins. Same plain enamel wire. Same hand ground, sand-cast magnets. Same great "warm 'n' woody" tone. Comes with waxed cloth hookup cable and non-logo covers.

Absolutely just right. If you want a real sounding p-bass pickup with no gimmicks, this is the one. This should be the standard all other p-bass pickups are compared to. Well balanced and will do all the p-bass things. No need to spend silly amounts of money. Very good quality and sounds exactly how it should.

  • great vintage tone!

i'm glad to see that guitar center is finally stocking these. i put together a p-bass a couple years ago made out of a Warmoth body and Warmoth neck. i wanted to do a 70's replica and i chose these pickups along with 250k CTS pots and a .47 Orange Drop cap and i am in love with the tone. you can get a nice treble high gain sound with these and also a nice warm thumpy tone, very versatile and highly recommended.
