I don't have much to say about the sound and electronic quality of the Aonic 50. One of the best in its class. However, within eight months, the headphone pads and head pad coatings started to crumble, and I had to remove plastic pieces from my hair and around my ears. It is a pity that such a well-designed product comes with pads that deteriorate so quickly, even becoming leather-like, and rotting rapidly, emitting microplastics. Additionally, the seams began to separate due to this decay. The product, which works very smoothly, has become unusable because of these pads.

I have aonic 50 1st gen, and it always starts with ldac, and today I upgrade to the 2nd gen, they still sounds amazing, but I was disappointed. it starts with aptx, with lower quality of sound. it is not good, I need to switch it manually to ldac everytime I connect. can you fix that with new software in headphones or maybe make option for disable some lower quality codecs in phone app?! also ANC is still weak. I need much more noise cancelling. for sample my Chinese soundcore q45 sounds poor, looks poor, less comfortable then aonic but can really 45db ANC. I hope Shure can make it in future.

I have purchased several Shure headphones over the years and the AONIC 50 Gen 1 was one of my top favorites. When I saw the updated Gen 2, I had to try it. I have to say it's an amazing improvement when I didn't think you could improve over the Gen 1! If you are thinking about purchasing headphones, you owe it to yourself to give this one a try!! I'm sure your search will be completed!

I bought these headphones with high expectations due to the large price tag. My main concern is that they are marketed as "Noise Canceling." I don't know how well they work because when I play something, I can still hear it. How is it canceling the noise if its playing it on the speakers? I'm skeptical .

I have 2 sets of these A50 headphones. The first set I use for work and loved them so much that I decided to buy a second set for personal use. The first set are still practically brand new (They are over 2 years old), but on the second set the fake leather on the headband and the ear covers is separating from the headphones (These are less than a year old). I am super disappointed in the quality of the second generation A50. To top it all off, submitting a warranty claim has taken several hours.
