  • These mics are very versatile. Try the PGA56 on a saxophone.

    The 52 sounds great in most kick drums. In my little theater I usually just use a kick and snare with a pair of overheads. The PGA56 makes a great horn mic. It's like having a 421. I'm not a fan of the drum mounts and the threaded adapters. Don't lose that little thing. The PGA57 nice.

    mics & cables take up considerable vertical space. had to break down & reconfigure right side cymbals. prefer to have cymbals in a tight config horizontal & vertically. not possible due to vert clearance. recommend rotate mic XLR pins @ 60 degrees & SUPPLY cables w/ 90 degree XLRs.
