collapse expand iconDescription

When it comes to wireless, Shure has long been at the forefront, developing reliable, transparent systems that deliver stellar performance at prices musicians love. The Shure GLXD24+/B58-Z3 builds on the success of its counterpart in the GLXD series, adding new Dual Band capacity, with more than double the available bandwidth. This makes it easier to find a clear channel, even when your band or venue is running multiple units. Simple, worry-free setup and management gets the curtain up on time. Smart, flexible charging options and a high-capacity lithium-ion battery give you from 12–17 hours of performance time (depending on band), so the show can run long. But, let’s look a little closer at what makes up this flexible wireless system.

Shure GLXD+ BETA 58A Wireless Mic System

Shure Dual Band Technology

Key to the whole GLXD+ series is Shure’s Dual Band Wireless System. By expanding the available frequency range from just the 2.4GHz band to encompass the 5.8GHz band as well, the total bandwidth is increased almost 250%. With all this extra bandwidth, the Shure GLXD+ wireless systems can easily find available channels to work in—especially in the less-crowded, more lightly used 5.8GHz band. So, running multiple units is much less complicated. Add in Shure’s smart pairing and smart frequency management, and you’re up and running quickly with no fuss. The system will even automatically choose backup frequencies and seamlessly switch to them if interference crops up in the middle of the show.

Shure GLXD+ BETA 58A Handheld Transmitter

A Punchy, Present BETA 58A Capsule

The handheld transmitter for the Shure GLXD24+ is designed to easy swap out microphone capsules. This model, the GLXD24+/B58-Z3 comes with the popular Shure BETA 58 neodymium supercardioid capsule. The high-capacity, rechargeable lithium-ion battery features a flexible smart system that can charge from a variety of sources and includes quick-charge capability. With 12–17 hours of runtime per charge—depending on which band the system is using—you’re ready for a production of Wagner’s Ring Cycle, a day-long seminar, or an extended jam band improvisational set.

Shure GLXD+ Desktop Receiver

The GLXD4+ Desktop Receiver

The Shure GLXD24+/B58-Z3 system includes the GLXD4+ Dual Band Tabletop receiver for superb digital audio clarity. Combined with Shure’s automatic frequency management and the power of Dual Band Technology, this compact, dual-antenna receiver conveniently displays connection information, battery level and more. The built-in charging bay for your transmitter’s battery can provide three hours of operating time on just a 30-minute charge, so it’s easy to keep things topped off and ready to rock.

Combining the clarity of digital audio, the flexibility of Dual Band technology, smart frequency management and Shure’s legendary microphones, a GLXD+ wireless system is a no-brainer, whether you’re setting up your own pedalboard or taking the whole band wireless.
