Perfect fit for a Regal RC-51 resonator guitar

I have had this case before in a deeper size to fit a Nick Lucas style recording king guitar and know it is a nice well made affordable case 6 latch case that also looks great. This time around I needed to fit a Regal RC-51 resonator guitar and the Silver Creek vintage 000 case was a perfect fit. It is hard to find a good fit for resonators and you cannot smash the top without risking damaging the cone. I tried a couple other cases I had at home housing other similar "classical" guitar shape which the RC-51 resonator is supposed to be, but they were not a good fit. To sweeten the deal, I bought a level 3 customer return case as I was not concerned with minor damage for a guitar case, but to my surprise, other than coming in a generic box, there is no sign of damage at all on this case The Regal is made in same chinese factory that makes Saga, Johnson, Jonathan, and many other resonators, so those may work as well.

Not an auditorium size case!

Bought this to fit a 000 body auditorium size acoustic and its not even in the ballpark. Its a dreadnaught shaped case thats too small to fit an average size dread (about 15" inside the case for the lower bout, maybe 4" deep). As far as the quality control its below average - mine came in with a misshapen handle, a warp in the neck area of the case where it should be straight, the door of the accessory compartment didn't fit well and the door hinge seemed like it was only fabric with no reinforcement. Padding on the underside of the top is sparse where its likely to touch the guitar. On the plus side, the tolex looks good and its got an arch top and 6 latches. Unfortunately this ones going back due to being the wrong shape.

I bought this to replace the soft case that comes with the Martin 000-15 Streetmaster. Perfect fit and good protection. I bought on a daily deal for a very attractive price and am very happy with the quality for the price.

The Silver Creek hard shell case is a great product. It compares nicely with cases costing almost twice as much. The vintage look with the arched wood top and green velvet interior are really sharp.

I purchased this case for my RK Tone wood Reserve Elite 000 and it fits perfectly. This case is very well made and has more latches than my Yamaha or Taylor hard cases. I bought it when it was a pick of the day and was $50 off, which was a crazy good price for such a nice case. I have another custom made acoustic that I need a case for and as soon as GC drops the price again I, plan to buy another.

will it fit D'Aangelico premier series tammany cs orchestra acoustic electric?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
The D’Angelico Premier Tammany CS is an Orchestra (OM)-size guitar, and the Silver Creek Vintage Archtop 000 Auditorium Case is built for 000/OM-size guitars. So on paper: Body size fits Lower bout and body depth are compatible D’Angelico’s long headstock might be tight — that’s the only risk. But if the D’Angelico has an unusually long headstock or the case has a very snug neck cradle, you might need to trim or pad the interior slightly.
