Great bang for the buck

Best bang for you buck. Bought it to protect a Gibson Les Paul Studio since Gibson is too cheap to include a hard case with anything under $2K these days. The gold hardware is a little gaudy, but it's nothing that can be fixed with etching compound. Cool crushed velvet lining. Very vintage. Not a whole lot of storage space, but enough for a small tuner, pack of strings, picks, and MAYBE a really thin strap. Protects the guitar and that's what it meant to do.

Hopeless - Doesn't fit a Les Paul!!

This case looked SO good for the money, and when it arrived it looked great: nice plush green velvet and a little hydrometer thingy built in. When I tried to put my Les Paul in, the problems started: it's too short. Not much too short, but too short. The top of the guitar's headstock was jammed up against the inside of the case, and that part's unpadded. One good whack on the outside of the case at that place, and you've got a broken headstock or neck. Oh and yes, I DID measure my guitar and compare it to the measurements given on the website....and it still didn't fit. I can only give a product one star when it completely fails in its basic purpose. Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy.....please look into this, Guitar Center!

    I got this for my M2 Melody Maker. It fits pretty good for this. I did think about getting another one to replace an old les paul case I have. It does not fit a Les Paul "The Paul II". So I'd be careful about trying to purchase this for a normal dimension les paul as this case is tight. Over good construction, and the green interior is classic.

    This is the 3rd Silver Creek case I've purchased. They're a great bang for the buck! I watch for them to go on sale and used my rewards. Got this one for a 2006 Epiphone Les Paul '56 Gold Top. Fits well. I'm guessing it will hold up for many years, but everything holds up if you look after it. Advertised as having 6 latches but in reality only has 5. That's my only complaint. Change the description or add another latch. Would it have been a deal breaker? No, but it was a bummer.

    I use this case for storage and protection and it's perfect My guitar is one of those $399 copies and it's beautiful electronics are poor but got me a set of EMG Zac Wilds coming sooooon!!!
