Excellent bass

The White body is glossed and feels great unlike the black one. Plug n Play bass. Great tone passive or active. I want the blue/green one next (maple neck) when available. The price of this bass is under priced. Great job Sire. Thanks for taking care of my shipment GC.

I purchased this at full price as a new item and did not come in the manufacturer box but wrapped in a ton of bubble wrap and put in a box to ship .Also my frets were unfinished and very sharp on edges.

I play at church, rehearsals and small venues; very nice sound, comfortable, nice setup. Mid pot had an issue (noisy and not connected properly) but my tech repaired it and everything is ok.

Bass is amazing! I have the P7 4 string and wanted a stingray esque sound paired with a 5 string to fill the gaps of the PJ. Needed a bit of setup but this bass covers a lot of tonal ground for such a low price. Neck is smooth and comfortable to maneuver around and upper access to frets is a breeze.

  • Definitely one of my favorites

I am integrating this bass into my on stage rotation. So far, it is working out well. Time will tell to see if it can handle it.

All basses vary depending on the density of the wood. Even the same model can vary up to 1.5 lbs Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Bass Guitars are generally between 8.00 and 10.00 lbs. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 8 - 9 lbs.
