Great Tuner

I use it not only when practicing, but when playing live -- it's easy to ready in low-light as well as when the stage lights are on.

Works Ok

Well this device will tune your guitar if you dont mind waiting for it to identify which string your tuning. Way to slow for a pro and disappointed with this tuner

  • Super Snark2 SS-2 tuner was broken in a month

The product was defective from the beginning and this is why it was broken, The retention receptacle on the tuner body has supped of the rendering the tuner inoperable. It is designed very weak. The customer service refused to replace it.

Unfortunately when placed acoustic guitar on stand guitar began to lean to the side and fell. Upon checking tunner it broke from pivot point (see pics) not durable at all. What happens if you accidentally drop the tuner? It should withstand a fall or multiple. Will not buy again.

The Super Snark is a quick and accurate tuner. The only problem I have experienced is the longevity. They don't last long, but they are much easier and faster than the old school plug ins.

They're much the same. They use basically the same clamps for both models.

How do I know if my guitar is tuned by display results?

How do I know if my guitar is tuned by display results?

    Open Reply - Beau
The left side of the display (red) indicates flat, the right of the display (yellow) indicates sharp. If a red needle is lit, it means the note played is flat. If a yellow needle is lit, it means the note played is sharp. You are in tune if the green needle (at center of meter) is lit.

I just bought a Super Snark 2. I am not sure about the colors. It seems it shows red, blue and a kind of yellow. I am not sure if the colors are off. There is no true green.
How do I know the colors showing are correct?

It appears that they have updated the design of the screen and changed the colors a bit. That's the way they design it now.

I need a couple of replacement pads for the Snark- the little soft rubber feet or pads on the clip.
I have 2 units and they work great but these pads fell off. still work ok but they slip a bit now and I worry of risk of scratch to finish on my guitar.

Yes, this will tune a guitar without an amp, it clips to the headstock and is based off the vibrations.
