This was bought for a Gretsch, very useful to save space on the ground around the kit. #sweepstakes

these small cymbal boom stands are great for a rack. they are small. there are well designed and have memory locks. very study metal, you can really tighten them down without bending the metal.

  • Wish they'd make a longer version

Excellent product if you're looking for a nice, stable short option. The memory clamps help set it apart from the pack, and are a feature you typically have to pay nearly twice as much for in comparable products. It's unfortunate they don't make a long arm version of these, but the short version will work perfectly with most any rack system and provides enough stability on my Gibraltar rack to hold a 20" heavy ride and an 18" crash at close to full extension. Unless you need a longer tube/arm, give this a look.

The SPC16's 12.7mm boom arm is compatible with standard cymbal mounts and clamps, which are commonly used in various drum rack systems, including the Simmons SD1250.
