I have used this to place on a mic stand in place of the boom arm attachment, because it is much more stable, it does not move once it is placed, which is great for drum overheads.

I used this to mount a roto-tom on my drum kit in place of a rack tom. Works like a charm, and allows me to orient it exactly like I want to. The hardware seems durable enough, although I suspect some name brand clamps might offer better durability. I still think even with heavy usage this clamp could last years.

This is an excellent product. It's extremely sturdy and well made. It allowed me to reuse an orphaned cymbal arm that I salvaged from another stand.

Purchased this to mount Roland v-drum pad to cymbal boom stand. The adjustable clamp ends provide added flexibility positioning the desired angle. Highly recommend it over fixed end clamps.
