Really well built product. The best part - well, at least for me - is the separated Aux and headphone outputs being independent from the actual mains out. This seems a subtle feature at first glance, but few or perhaps no other mixers of this size offer this. I've been a user of the small-format Yamaha MG series for years and none of those offer this particular routing/monitoring option. There is a good YouTube video on the 8FX talking about this feature. I use this in a home studio, personal demos and small coffee shop Open Mic-type situations and I'd definitely recommend this product and Soundcraft in general to others.

I bought this mixer to pair with a little PA that I use for small shows. After a few months of use it began giving a constant static out of the main outputs. It was beyond GC's return period but still within Soundcrafts manufacturers warranty. So after a very long and frustrating phone call where I got passed from person to person, Soundcraft eventually agreed to take the mixer in for a warranty repair. So I shipped it to them. Within a few weeks I get an email saying that they've inspected the mixer and it is not repairable so they will be sending me a new mixer to replace it. Fantastic! But that was over 5 months ago and I still have not received the replacement. I've contacted them multiple times and have gotten nowhere. This mixer is cheaply made - nothing like Soundcraft products used to be. And Soundcraft customer service is horrendous. Steer clear of this mixer.
