I've been playing mine for about 3 days and can not put it down. The tone from the passive pickups sounds miles better than the active pickups in my Squire Jazz Deluxe that I've been playing since 2013. Only gripes are the string height is set way too high from the factory, the pickups were set too high on the bass side and too low on the treble side, and the fretboard was incredibly dry. All very minor fixes if you know how. Truss rod was set perfect and intonation is spot on. For the money these blow any and all other budget 6 string basses out of the water and I'd recommend it to anyone.

  • Pretty killer bass for the $$$

Not by any means the best ever made but at this price point it's pretty awesome. Setup out of the box was solid. I cranked down on the truss about a 1/3 turn and it was more or less good to go. 17mm string spacing makes for a pretty comfortable neck. Not huge but not as narrow or flat as an Ibanez towards the higher register. Pickups are solid too for a "cheap" bass. Great mod platform if you can find pickups that will fit without routing or drilling (currently looking).

This thing is solid for the price. Feels good, not overly bulky and stays tuned even after my 30 min slap and pluck Session. I've played and owned a few 6 string basses but all felt just that...cheap but this actually is quite impressive.
