This item was inexpensive, exactly what I was looking for. I used to use a fender jazz bass that my guitar player owned until he sold it. So i have a soft spot for this style. The precision was on sale so i went for it. It has some string buzz which is to be expected but great sound!

I was shopping for a new bass that would be CITES compliant. My older basses are pre 2019 and have rosewood fret boards. I can't mpared thelis bass woth the Player Saturday Night Special, Player II precision bass, Player II jazz bass, and the Standard Precision, as well as the Ultra Precision. What I found was that this was closest to the Ultra - the ceramics being significantly brighter than either the standard or player series. I expect that this will help cut through the mix. Overall an incredible value.

Overall this guitar has a great sound out of both pickups, individually and combined. I play it in between watching episodes of Wonder Woman and the Bionic Space People.

After playing guitar for more than 50 years, I finally followed through on my long-delayed promise to start learning and playing bass. This model is great for beginners and experienced musicians who would like a quality bass at a price that won't hurt the wallet. It was set up pretty well out of the box, minor tweaks were made, just a little truss rod adjustment and intonation and it's now a very good, comfortable and beautiful bass guitar. It's as heavy as the heaviest guitar I own (8.7 lbs) but not heavy enough to be a problem for my 70-year old shoulders & neck! Highly recommended. It was delivered in very solid packaging, within a week of ordering it. Very happy with the purchase experience and the product!

I bought this on a whim, wanting "real" bass sounds on my home recordings. I am pleasantly surprised at the build quality and playability of this instrument. It's solidly built, with a nice trim neck and reasonably good action, which I easily adjusted when I started playing it. It produces round notes and provides a good bottom end to my music, especially with the neck pickups. Not perfect, with some rough frets in the upper part of the neck, and the bridge pickup is kind of dull, but it stands up pretty well against some of my expensive guitars in fit and finish. A real surprise for the money. Great if you're testing the waters for a bass without committing big bucks.

Where do I plug in the cord to connect it to the amp?

On your Squier Affinity Series Limited-Edition PJ Bass, you plug the cord (instrument cable) into the output jack, which is located on the bottom edge of the bass body, right next to the strap button on the lower side. Here's a quick step-by-step: Take a standard ¼-inch instrument cable (same type you'd use for an electric guitar). Find the metal jack plate on the lower side of the bass (if you’re holding the bass normally, it’s at the bottom near where your strumming/picking hand rests). Plug one end of the cable firmly into that jack. Plug the other end into the input of your amp (usually labeled "Input").

I want to get a warm full sound with this, i am considering getting flatwounds for this purpose but wanted to know if the bass itself will assist in getaway the sound I'm looking for, if it doesn't do you have any recommendations for how I can best get what I'm looking for (by the way I'm on a low budget)

"warm full sound"-----"flatwounds" This is a great choice. This is better---------Squier Sonic Precision Bass 2-Color Sunburst. You don't want that bridge pup. The original Precision Bass is the sound you want.
