Picked this beautiful telecaster during Guitar-a-thon. Fell in love with it when I saw it in person. Color is the perfect shade of blue with metallic finish. Sounds amazing once tuned love the classic telecaster twang! I am a beginner excited for this guitar to be part of my journey!
A very pleasant surprise.

I am a DYI guy when it comes to my guitars. I usually build Telescope and Strats verses buy them new or used. I wanted a decent sounding inexpensive guitar. This Squire Tele more than fits the bill. Fit and finish is great. No fret edges, great metallic finish and while not US pickups, the ones on it work great.
I am very happy with this product and would by it again.

I use this guitar for practice. It came with a good set up and plays easy. Nice small neck which is good for beginners as well as seasoned players. The pick ups aren't as good as a thousand dollar guitar but it sounds decent for the price.
Yes I would buy again

Great guitar to use as test platform for modification

I bought this guitar for a specific purpose, the starting platform for testing out modifications. If I had been looking for a good starter guitar, this would have also been a great choice. I picked this model for its low price, light weight, Indian laurel fret board, belly carve, and overall just a great looking guitar. First the good: (1) the neck was very nice and playable right out of the box, after I spent an hour making the frets, fret ends, neck, and fingerboard buttery smooth it is perfect; (2) it balances nicely even though it is a full 2lbs lighter than my Nashville Tele; (3) the belly cut and color are great, it is a beautiful guitar. The not so good, just 1: the stock pickups were very flat, which it didn't really matter for me because I immediately swapped them for Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups. Although the 3 way standard controls felt fine, I wanted to try out a 4 switch, so I also replaced the controls with a 4-way switch (920D T4W-C). The Texas Special pickups are GREAT, the 4-way switch is ok. The new pickups and controls fit perfectly without any modifications to the body.
