Unbelievable quality and value for under $400!
I'm a novice. I had neck surgery where two disks were removed and wasn't able to use my left hand at all until I started rehab. The rehab director knew I once played a guitar and suggested I start again using my left hand to move between chords as therapy. I will never again have a lot of strength in my fingers so I needed something that was easy to play and this Squire Classic Vibe Telecaster was the answer; mainly because of the smooth and easy action. It seems this might also be great for beginners even though most independent internet reviews put the Squire Classic Vibe series on par with MIM Fenders for quality and value. I've tried them both and agree. I like the semi hollow body because it makes a decent sound even without an amp which is how I mostly use it. Because of my lack of finger strength I can only play open chords so adding a Capo did the trick for changing keys. This is not a cheap guitar, it's simply a super value for just under $400. Do an old geezer (69 yrs old) like me a favor, at least try one of the Squire Classic Vibes next time you're in Gee-Tar Heaven!

I wouldn't buy this guitar again
I bought this guitar used at GC. Looks great and sounds great. I brought it home and took it to my first gig with it. It kept going out of tune. I had new strings on it that I stretched out and it should of stayed in tune. The tuners on the headstock are bad. I couldn't find a set of locking tuners that would fit on this guitar without looking like a hack job. I brought it back to GC and got my money back. Honestly, Sire guitars come with locking tuners. Fender.........Squier. Outfit your guitars with locking tuners!!

I have played for 50 years. Have owned and traded all kinds of expensive Fender, GIbson, PRS, and boutique brands. All lovely guitars. Thought I would try a Pawn Shop weirdo a few years back and got a HH Strat made in Japan. Incredible. So I ventured further and got this HH Tele in natural. I can't say enough about how good it looks, sounds and plays. No string buzzing issues for me. Feels like the frets are rolled beautifully on the fretboard sides. Stands up really well to instruments 5x the price.

I currently have a MIM Strat and the pickups are usually fairly noisy. Are these humbucker noiseless? Or at least less noisy than the standard MIM Strat
