My Vic Firth T1 generals were finally wearing out, but I didn't want to pay a hefty price for another set of those. I used to play with a set of Zildjian DC Doubles, so I figured these would be like those...and, they are! The nice thing is that these are much less expensive, and they still seem to be pretty good quality. The mallet is not as big as a T1 or as soft as the DC, but these are great if you do a lot of transitioning between cymbal rolls and sticking.
