Steinberger

collapse expand iconDescription

The revolutionary Steinberger Spirit GT-PRO Deluxe offers a distinctive headless design and premium components for serious musicians seeking a versatile, portable instrument. With a lightweight Basswood body, patented R-Trem tremolo and direct-pull tuning system, the GT-PRO delivers a smooth tone and rock-solid intonation in a virtually indestructible package.

Revolutionary Shape, Legendary Playability

The Steinberger’s iconic headless design provides perfect balance and comfort. Its slim, fast neck features a 14" radius ebony fingerboard for silky playability. The GT-PRO’s compact size fits in any overhead compartment, yet its resonant basswood body and maple neck generate full-bodied tone that stands up to any standard guitar.

Supreme Playability

The GT-PRO Deluxe's slim, comfortable neck profile and 24 medium-jumbo frets make soloing and shredding a breeze. Its compact 25.5" scale length enhances playability. The patented double-ball end strings provide balanced tension for smooth bends and low action. Overall, the GT-PRO Deluxe gives you speed, comfort and precision.

Premium Pickups Provide Versatile Tone

Power your performance with the GT-PRO's versatile pickups. Steinberger humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions produce a warm, full tone, while the SC-1 single coil in the middle position adds clarity and definition. A 5-way selector and master volume and tone controls allow you to shape your tone with ease. From bright and articulate to fat and punchy, the GT-PRO has the pickups to match your musical mood.

Innovative Bridge Provides Extreme Stability

Stay in tune through the most extreme techniques thanks to the GT-PRO's patented R-Trem tremolo bridge. When unlocked, the R-Trem enables radical whammy bar dives and pull-ups. Lock it for fixed bridge performance. Either way, the R-Trem's steel saddles and direct-pull tuning system keep your intonation accurate. Make micro-adjustments right at the bridge and restring in seconds without a headstock getting in your way.

Premium Components and Lifetime Warranty

From its 3-piece hard maple neck and Basswood body to its master-grade hardware, the GT-PRO is loaded with premium components. It's set up at the factory with Steinberger DoubleBall strings for optimal tone and comes with a deluxe gig bag. Each GT-PRO also includes a limited lifetime warranty.

This is the best sounding guitar I now own after my rebuild. Total strip down. see my pictures and finished product. You have to understand the way this guitar functions to be friends with it. It does stay in tune and you need to oil the moving parts. The R-trem system as is will fail if abused due to some parts make out of zinc.
