Tama's Iron Cobra 200 Series Double Bass Drum Pedal is engineered for drummers who demand excellence. The HP200PTW combines innovative design with rugged durability, unlocking your full potential behind the kit. Featuring Tama's Spring Tight spring tension adjustment system for an incredibly fast, smooth response, the HP200PTW allows drummers to achieve high speeds and power without sacrificing control or feel. Tama's single-chain Power Glide cam provides a seamless stroke from beginning to end for optimized energy transfer with each kick. With a fully adjustable beater angle, drummers can dial in their perfect kick attack for consistent, dynamic tone. Take your double bass chops to the next level with the Tama HP200PTW Iron Cobra 200 Series Double Bass Drum Pedal.

Spring Tight System Provides an Ultra-Fast, Smooth Kick

At the heart of the HP200PTW is Tama's innovative Spring Tight spring tension adjustment system. The Spring Tight's steel string design ensures the footboard returns to its original position without twisting for the fastest, most responsive kick possible. Paired with the Cobra Coil pedal return, drummers can achieve speeds they never thought possible with a secure, controlled feel.

Power Glide Cam Delivers Optimal Energy Transfer

Tama's single-chain Power Glide cam is engineered to provide maximum power and speed. As the beater reaches the end of the stroke, the Power Glide cam's offset design ramps up its power and acceleration. The result is a powerful, punchy kick with a smooth feel from start to finish. Drummers can achieve high speeds and volume without needing to overcompensate with force.

Fully Adjustable Beater Angle for Consistent Tone

With the HP200PTW's fully adjustable beater angle, drummers have complete control over their kick tone and attack. Easily tweak the beater angle to achieve your perfect impact for consistent and dynamic tone at any volume or speed. Micro adjustments provide noticeable tonal changes, allowing drummers to optimize the HP200PTW to match their playing style and musical needs.

Road-Ready Durability and Included Carry Bag

The HP200PTW is built to withstand the demands of touring and rigorous practice. Its solid steel baseplate and durable footboard provide a stable, long-lasting foundation for years of dependable use.

Fantastic Quality for a Fantastic Price

My boyfriend has been playing drums for over 10 years and double kicks never lasted too long for him. This Iron Cobra series though they are cheaper than some others are in my opinion the best on the market. He can beat the holy heck out of them and know that they aren't going to break within the first couple of years. If you ever have an issue keeping your double kicks in tact, you may want to consider this brand and model!

Okay for "Jr" entry-level (they don't call it that anymore)

I had exactly four weeks and a loud squeak just started. I don't look forward to disassembling this to oil it either. The drumkey bolts were almost impossible to loosen to adjust the beater angle. And the Allen screws on the cam aren't budging. Not as beefy as even my Alesis Stealthkick either, which hasn't squeaked since I bought it five years ago.

This a decent drum pedal to learn double bass on. If you continue with drumming later on you'll probably want a direct drive or higher quality pedal but this is decent enough to learn and gain decent speed

Very strong, very durable but not the most responsive. Would recommend it to any beginner though.

It is a great beginner pedal. It's been about 8 months and I think it is time for an upgrade.

Love these pedals really smooth and fast really sturdy was worried I'd have to rearrange my snare drum but didn't have to move nothing, I finally got rid of my left bass drum now I got room for roto toms and that left bass drum is now my coffee table.

What is the width of the bar? Maximum distance between the pedals. Thank you for your time.

13 inches and a maximum distance could not be found. However, the manufacturer states that the pedal offers maximum adjustability to cover a diverse range of playing styles.
