    I have a custom flame painted drumkit, and if I use bare bass drum pedals on it, they will scrape up the paint on the hoops. For a small investment, I protect the hoops, so these are worth it. Could someone just make these if they had the material? Of course. But this was a fast fix.

    I had a leather bass drum hoop saver that was too thick for a DW pedal. They were very easy to attach to either side of the hoop and was ready to play within seconds. These Tama branded ones were a real help when I had refinished the paint on some Ludwig wood hoops. Will definitely consider these again!

    With a sticky back, it is very easy to stick these on the bass drum hoop for extra protection. Comes with two of them!
