This stompbox is built for guitarists and bassists who want to explore new dimensions of ambience. With the Hall of Fame 2, you get updated reverb algorithms like a Shimmer mode that pitch-shifts your echoes up an octave. The expression-capable Mash footswitch responds to your playing dynamics for organic swelling effects. Stereo inputs immerse you in three-dimensional reverberation. And the three TonePrint slots let you save custom presets designed by top artists. The Hall of Fame 2 features intuitive knobs for tone shaping, plus a compact size that fits neatly on your pedalboard. Unleash your creativity with this powerful reverb pedal.
Shape Your Sound With Innovative Algorithms Like Shimmer
The Hall of Fame 2 serves up lush reverbs plus creative tools to sculpt your tone. It builds on the legacy of the original Hall of Fame pedal with inventive algorithms. The Shimmer mode pitch-shifts your echoes up an octave for ethereal textures. A Spectra mode uses multiple detuned echoes to fatten your sound. The innovative Mash footswitch is pressure-sensitive, letting you control the intensity of effects. With the Hall of Fame 2, you can swell in cosmic reverbs or subtly accent your playing. Dial in gated rhythmic effects or rich ambient decays that complement your guitar tone. Whether you crave traditional hall reverbs or experimental sound design, this pedal delivers.
Get Immersed With Stereo Inputs and Outputs
While many reverb pedals are mono, the Hall of Fame 2 features stereo ins and outs. This opens up a wider, more immersive world of echo effects. You can run stereo guitar tones into the pedal and get a lush three-dimensional reverb. The stereo output maintains this spaciousness. When using mono sources, a stereo reverb effect still enhances your tone's depth and dimension. Whether you utilize the stereo I/O or run mono, the Hall of Fame 2 surrounds you in ambience. This helps your guitar cut through a mix with clarity and presence.
Save Your Favorite Sounds With TonePrint
The Hall of Fame 2 comes loaded with custom reverb presets designed by leading guitarists. The three TonePrint slots let you save and recall sounds crafted specifically for this pedal. With the TonePrint app, you can beam additional presets to the pedal via your smartphone. This gives you instant access to custom effects made by TC Electronic artists. TonePrint also lets you tweak the pedal's parameters and shape your own sounds. When you find a tone that inspires you, save it to a TonePrint slot. The Hall of Fame 2 makes it easy to get signature effects from guitar legends.
Shape Your Sound With Intuitive Controls
While packed with features, the Hall of Fame 2 is designed for simplicity. It has intuitive knobs for Tone, Time and Effect Level, plus a Decay knob to adjust the reverb length. The Mash footswitch makes it easy to swell tones in and out for dramatic textures. With TonePrint, saving your favorite settings is a breeze. The soft-click footswitches are quiet on stage. Weighing just over half a pound, the die-cast chassis is built for life on the road. When you want pro-grade reverb in a stompbox, the Hall of Fame 2 delivers legendary TC Electronic sound in a pedalboard-friendly format.

Good sounding reverbs
I have had my HOF2 for about a week, so I can't comment on long term reliability, but I can say that I probably would make a different choice if I had known how limited the Toneprint editing abilities actually are. Fortunately, the reverbs do sound very good, ranging from very natural sounding rooms and halls to shimmering and modulated effects. I am totally happy with the sound. The Toneprint downloads work very well too, and it is interesting to get the effect settings from professional artists. But the Toneprint editor software is actually very limited and there is no documentation, even at the websites, as to what it is actually doing. Battery life is only about 5 hours, but I knew that going in and was willing to live with that. At least it does have a battery option, which many pedals don't have at all. So if you want a good sounding reverb, with other subtle modulation effects in the reverb this is a good choice, but don't choose it for toneprint editing ability. There are other high-quality reverbs out there to consider. I personally strive for very natural sounding reverb, even if simulating a large, echoey hall, so the modulation effects are not a big plus for me, but they do sound good. I don't want to come across as too critical of this pedal. I am a previous owner of the TC M-1 rackmount reverb, so I knew TC makes very good sounding reverbs, and that is why I was originally attracted to this pedal.

Reverb so thick you can serve it with a fork!
This reverb effects pedal is totally impressive IMO. From super-suttle tinges of echo to heavy canyon-like reverb and everything in between. The MASH feature is great too. I'm still experimenting with all the possibilities. I'd recommend this reverb to anyone. It's really amazing!

From my own experience, the TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 has become a staple on my board. I originally picked it up for the shimmer effect, but ended up loving the range — from warm, subtle room sounds to lush, ambient washes. The MASH footswitch took a second to get used to, but once I figured it out, it added a really expressive layer to my playing. I've also had fun using the TonePrint app to try out different artist presets. For the price and size, it delivers way more than I expected.

I LOVED the HOF 1 so I couldn't wait to get my hands on the HOF 2. I love the addition of the Shimmer reverb! The switch on the first HOF was quiet, but this one has no audible click, which is super convenient when silence count (pit orchestras, quiet times in worship)!

The quality is typical TC Electronics, excellent. Fit and finish are great. Function was as expected. The Mash button and the tone prints are super easy to use. Great flexibility

I love everything but the slight noise issue. Working on that. Might not be the box. Maybe a ground issue. This is my second HOF2
I wish I could use TonePrint to custom reverb on my laptop.

This pedal is great and I would have loved to have given it 5 starts but I have had difficulties in getting it to connect to my laptop to customize and send different settings of reverb to the pedal using TonePrint. I was not able to send TonePrint presets through the pickup in my classical guitar but I was able to send them through the pickups of an electric guitar. I was really looking forward to being able to customize my own reverb through the TonePrint app but unfortunately I am so far unable to do so. Otherwise it does sound great.

Can you use the HF2 to add reverb to voice (microphone input)? If not, any solutions to offer?
It's not recommended. It would "work" but it wouldn't sound very good. You need a professional reverb unit. Take a look at Lexicon PCM92 Reverb Effects Processor. Please give us a call to better help you out – 877-687-5403submitted5 years ago
