The TC Electronic Sub 'N' Up Octaver dual octaver effects pedal brings unmatched versatility to your octave effects. With its next-generation octave engine, you get independent controls to blend the dry signal with octave up, sub octave and two octaves down—allowing you to shape your tone exactly how you want it. The Sub 'N' Up gives you options for vintage octave effects with the Classic mode or more spacious, shimmering tones with the Poly mode. You can even customize your octave tones further by using the TonePrint editor to add modulation like chorus or flanger. With the Sub 'N' Up, your octave effects are endlessly adaptable.

Sculpt Your Tone With Three Blendable Octaves

The Sub 'N' Up lets you blend just the right amount of octave effect into your tone. It features individual knobs for the dry signal, one octave up, one octave down and two octaves down. This makes it easy to balance your natural tone with the harmonizing octaves. Turn up the Sub knob to thicken your sound with a bass octave or crank the Up knob to soar into the stratosphere. Having independent control of the octave layers means you can craft the perfect octave blend.

Choose Vintage or Modern Octave Sounds

With its dual modes, the Sub 'N' Up offers two distinct octave sounds. Engage Classic mode for warm, vintage octave tones reminiscent of old-school effects. The Poly mode generates more spacious, shimmering octaves with added depth and dimension. Whether you want to channel classic rock or modern ambient, the Sub 'N' Up has an octave sound that will inspire your playing.

Customize Your Tone With TonePrint

For even more ways to personalize your octave effects, the Sub 'N' Up lets you design custom TonePrints. Using the TonePrint editor, you can tweak parameters or add modulation effects like chorus, flanger, tremolo and more. Store your custom TonePrint presets right on the pedal and access them instantly. With TonePrint, you can expand the Sub 'N' Up's capabilities and craft signature octave tones.

want something that is less complex than the pog 2, has great tracking, and some additional usability with a lil work on an app? this pedal is for you. sounds great, especially with a little over drive ahead of it.

I am a longtime bassist, a mediocre guitar player, and obsessed with any new sound I can get. So I bought this with the excuse that I have a couple of songs on bass that require simultaneous playing of octaves, which it works well...then I started playing with it for other instruments. First for a mic'ed drum, that is pretty cool, and on a handpan it was also pretty cool, but my mind was blown when I used it with my American Indian flutes. Worth every dime and then some! Thick, beautiful sounds, even more amazing with a drone flute. It might be my favorite pedal after TC's helix phaser.

  • not bad, but i traded up to EHX

I like the functionality since it has 1 sub and 2 sub controls. Did not have the same tone as comparable EHX products, so I ended up buying the more expensive EHX POG2 which is way better but costs a lot more.
