collapse expand iconDescription

The TC Helicon DUPLICATOR is a stompbox vocal processor designed to make your voice sound its absolute best in any live performance situation. With the DUPLICATOR's Adaptive Tone technology, your vocals are automatically optimized with EQ, compression, de-essing and gating for a rich, studio-quality tone every time you sing. Plug in your mic, dial in your perfect sound and let your voice shine with the TC Helicon DUPLICATOR.

Adaptive Tone Technology Tunes Your Voice Automatically

The DUPLICATOR's Adaptive Tone technology is an intelligent processing system that listens to your voice and adapts multiple parameters in real time to get you sounding your best. With advanced algorithms, it provides automatic EQ adjustment, compression, de-essing and noise gating optimized for vocals. It brings out the natural warmth and character in your voice, evening out inconsistencies for a consistently clear and balanced tone during your entire performance. Adaptive Tone is like having a vocal producer tweak your sound on the fly.

Double up Your Vocals for Exciting Depth and Texture

Three distinct doubling effects—Tight, Loose and Octave—allow you to easily thicken up and expand your vocals to make them sound bigger and fuller. The Tight setting doubles your voice subtly for a rich chorus-like effect. Loose delivers a more pronounced doubling that adds space and dimension. Octave doubles your vocal an octave below for exciting depth and texture. With the stomp of your foot, you can engage any of these doubling effects to make your voice sound like a vocal ensemble all on its own.

Lush, Dimensional Reverb Places You in a Virtual Space

The DUPLICATOR's studio-grade reverb algorithm immerses your vocals in a gorgeous wash of resonance and ambience. Much more sophisticated than a typical stompbox reverb, it smooths out and extends the decay of your voice with natural-sounding early reflections and a lush tail. You can dial in just the right amount of reverb for the space you're performing in, from subtle enhancement to cavernous halls. The reverb adds a beautiful sense of dimension that makes it sound like you're performing in a cathedral, concert hall or other imaginative virtual space.

Pitch Correction for Imperceptible Pitch Fixing

For those inevitable sour notes, the DUPLICATOR's built-in pitch correction smoothly and transparently fixes any pitch problems in your voice in real time. Its advanced algorithm is designed to only engage when it detects an out-of-tune note, subtly nudging your pitch to the correct note on the scale. The correction is imperceptible to the ear, with no distracting warbling artifacts. Just plug in your mic and sing with confidence, knowing any pitch issues will be corrected on the fly.

Use sparingly and set it then forget it. Great for some slight reverb and doubling.

Had only lower octave harmony. When disengaged while singing the mic volume dropped considerably.
