Dial In Lush Ambience With Versatile Effects

Elevate your vocal presence with eight meticulously crafted reverb and echo presets onboard the Mic Mechanic 2. You have your choice of three distinct reverb types—Room, Studio and Hall—each imbuing your voice with enveloping depth and dimension. Two delay options, Tap and Slap, expand your creative palette with lush vocal repeats. Use reverb and delay independently for focused effects or blend them together for rich, immersive atmospheres tailored to your performance.

Natural Pitch Correction Keeps You in Tune

Natural Pitch Correction Keeps You in Tune

While the Mic Mechanic 2 excels at shaping ambience, it also ensures you stay perfectly in tune with its Adaptive Tone pitch correction. This sophisticated algorithm applies subtle, natural-sounding pitch shifts to smooth out your vocals without the artificial "robot voice" effect of aggressive Auto-Tune. You'll enjoy the confidence of flawless intonation while preserving the organic expressiveness of your delivery, whether recording or performing live.

Bang for your Buck $$

You can't go wrong. I'm not the biggest fan of pitch correction but everything else works great. Only had for about2 weeks and limited use so far due to the Hollidays but liked it right off the bat.

okay, but why no volume control??

I bought this voice pedal because I wanted something very simple. I don't use the digital harmonies. It is easy to set up and use. The effect that I really wanted was "slapback" and it does have it. It amazes me they chose to not put a volume control on this unit. In order to adjust volume, you have to go to the PA or other amplification system. This is causing me to check out other brands before the return period is over. Again, it has no volume control. That is dumb. The lack of volume control is why I would not recommend to a friend. I saw an earlier comment that it created line noise. I did not have that problem at all It ran quiet (i.e., no hiss) when plugged in.

Bought for use in band and solo. First one developed really nasty speaker pop and crackle after about two months, about 16 hours use. Do you see in these reviews that this is a frequent complaint? I bought another, and it CAME with the speaker crackle and pop. Again, you see this A LOT in the reviews. Why is TC Helicon still making it with this problem????????????

  • I would not buy again...

I only had this unit 4 months and used very sparingly. It has developed enormous speaker pop and crackle.

Doesn't really do anything. Some TC products are ok. Some are either too hard to use or don't work as far as vocal effects go. Other TC products are ok. Too expensive for vague results.

This pedal does not include a power cable. It works with a standard 9V power adapter that is negatively centered

How would the hook-ups be to my powered PA Speakers? Does my microphone cable go in one side and my speaker cable go out the other side? Thanks so much in advance.

You would connect your microphone cable to the Mic input on the back and then send another microphone cable to your powered PA speakers.
