Taylor

collapse expand iconDescription

The Taylor 724ce Koa Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar is crafted from select-grade Hawaiian koa and features a warm midrange focus and bright, chiming highs. The 724ce combines Taylor's innovative V-Class bracing system with an ultrathin matte finish, coaxing a lively, punchy response from the guitar and allowing players to feel fully connected to the natural wood.

Revolutionary V-Class Bracing Boosts Tone and Playability

Taylor's groundbreaking V-Class bracing marks an evolution in acoustic guitar design. It optimizes the 724ce's response in three ways: increasing volume, sustain and resolving intonation issues that often trouble acoustic guitars. The result is a purer, more musical tone with notes that ring clearly up and down the fretboard. The 724ce is also easier to tune, with pitch that sounds truer. Harmonics ring evenly, notes have more projection and sustain, and the upper register remains open and balanced.

Popular Grand Auditorium Body Style Responds to All Playing Styles

The 724ce features Taylor's original Grand Auditorium body style, which helped establish the Taylor acoustic sound. This popular, versatile shape produces ample volume when fingerpicking yet remains balanced when strumming or flatpicking. Players who want an all-purpose guitar will find the Grand Auditorium an excellent choice.

Custom ES2 Electronics Capture Nuance and Natural Tone

The 724ce includes Taylor's Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics, which deliver the latest in Taylor's ongoing acoustic amplification innovation. At the heart of the ES2 is Taylor's patented behind-the-saddle pickup with three uniquely positioned and calibrated sensors. Because the pickup sits behind the saddle, the saddle maintains full contact with the bridge, allowing the 724ce's tone to come through naturally whether playing acoustically or plugged in. Together with Taylor's custom-designed preamp, the ES2 produces exceptional amplified tone and responsiveness for performing through a PA, acoustic amp or recording interface.

Premium Appointments Complete the Package

Additional appointments on the 724ce include mother-of-pearl fountain inlays, rosewood binding, a dark stained wood pickguard and Taylor polished bronze tuners. The 724ce comes with a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.

The 724CE plays effortlessly right out of the case. The beautiful Koa wood with the subtle but elegant abalone apportionments are great. But the best thing is the amazing tone of this guitar. Absolutely love it.

  • I have many taylors and they all have been worth the money.

This guitar looks, feels and plays perfectly! Outstanding Taylor quality. The Koa is beautiful. Fit and finish are excellent as expected in every Taylor guitar I have ever owned. The Guitar Center staff worked well with me to trade in gear so I could afford to get this Beauty! I guarantee, if you get one, you will not be disappointed in any way! Stage ready. It is a stunner!

  • Love my new Taylor!

First off, it's a beautiful guitar. Have only had it 2 weeks and loving it. I realize there is break-in period to get to the best sounding 724, so I'm enjoying this time getting use to it.
