Taylor Guitars | World-Class Taylor Craftsmanship In Every Guitar

Description
Like the Baby, the Big Baby has an arched back that provides strength and contributes to its big tonal output. A Sitka spruce top blends stiffness and elasticity in just the right proportions which translates into broad dynamic range with crisp articulation. Layered walnut back and sides create a sturdy yet receptive platform for the vibrating string energy sent by the guitar's top. A layered construction is also less susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity, making it an excellent choice for players who travel with their instruments or simply require more durability.
This Big Baby model is also equipped with Taylor's ES-B system, which incorporates piezo design elements from the flagship Taylor ES2 system. Powered by a 9V battery, its onboard preamp includes a built-in digital chromatic tuner, an LED display for tuning and low battery indication and a tone-sculpting 3-band EQ. All Big Baby Taylor models ship with a durable travel-worthy gig bag for optimal fit and protection.

Picked one up almost 10 years ago for a good price since it was used, and it has been my pride and joy ever since. I have played and recorded beautifully with this guitar. I could easily own this guitar and no other.

I purchased the big baby taylor guitar that was on sale from a near by GC a few weeks after I bought a Martin at my local GC because I knew that there is a charter difference between the two types of guitars that are different in many ways and the big baby is exactly what I wanted in a. acoustic electric small footprint of a droughtnut, warm and bright tones remarkably crafted instrument very easy to play out of the box, sounds great plugged in and loud enough unplugged, very satisfied with my purchase, I have already recommended this Taylor modal to my musician buds, serious musicians on a budget, the Big Baby Taylor is prime solution.

The Most Beautiful Bright Sounding Guitar - Now in Electric

I owned a Big Baby Taylor nearly 20 years ago, and I sold it to a student - and have always wanted another one. Seeing an Electric Acoustic version on Guitarcenter.com, I happily snapped one up and have thoroughly enjoyed that super bright sound I remember so well. The Big Baby is a 15/16 scale dreadnought, so it's nearly the same size as your other dreadnaughts, so it's much bigger than a travel guitar and sounds better than any travel sized guitar. This guitar is perfect for small hands, short arms, big bellies, LOL... or anyone who plays acoustic electric a lot and wants a super comfortable setup. Why aren't ALL acoustic electric dreadnought guitars this size? This is still a Taylor, so you get Taylor quality in the tone, setup, and every detail. The action is fantastic, which makes this a very fast guitar to play. The onboard electronics includes a build in tuner, which you'll use only once in a while because of how well this guitar stays in tune. This is an easy guitar to recommend, even to an online shopper who has never played this guitar in person.
I would recommend this guitar to all guitar lovers.

While I was browsing inside guitar center, I compare the Taylor Big Baby Acoustic-Electric Guitar to Martin Special Dreadnought X1AE Style Acoustic-Electric Guitar and Taylor sounds much better than Martin and fell in love when connected to an amplifier especially the price is a little bit lower than Martin. I assure you this Taylor Big Baby is a big thumps up.
