Description
Gotoh tuners are high-performing tuners that are used on many of Taylor's most premium models. They feature superior tuning stability and feel with a 21:1 tuning ratio. It's recommended you install them professionally, as the Gotoh tuners are not a drop-in replacement for standard Taylor tuners. Choose either the Antique Gold or Antique Chrome model.

I have a Taylor 117e Grand Pacific Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural. It came with Chrome Tuners. I'd like to upgrade to these Gold ones. Will they work without having to drill new holes, etc.? Are they compatible?
Yes, the Taylor Gotoh 21:1 Gold Tuners will fit the Taylor 117e Grand Pacific Acoustic-Electric Guitar—but with a couple of small considerations. Here's what you need to know: Stock tuners on the 117e are most likely Taylor's own-branded sealed tuners, typically with a 3-per-side configuration (standard for acoustics). Gotoh 21:1 tuners that are made specifically for Taylor guitars (sold through Taylor or reputable retailers) are drop-in replacements for most Taylor headstocks—no drilling or modification required. Make sure you’re getting the Taylor-branded Gotoh tuners, not just generic Gotohs, because the Taylor versions are made to fit Taylor’s specific post spacing and bushing size.
