I put these on a modified Jaguar-styled guitar with P-90's. These TI's were a higher gauge than I normally use (.09's in round-wound), so adjustments to the whammy were necessary, no problem. Slightly quieter than round-wounds (so I raised the neck pickup a bit). These strings have a great tone, crank the reverb and go surfin'. Plus they are easy on the fingers when you are moving around on the neck..

Acoustic Ninja Here: These are Great strings. Put these on a vintage USA manufactured Chet Atkins Nashville Gretch. These are a perfect set of strings for this type of vintage guitar. I highly recommend these strings for a hollow body electric like mine. Not sure how well they would work on a solid body but I will be buying more of these for my old Gretch.

Very short break in period, put them on a gretch sincromatic, they sound and feel great, smooth action, bend with ease and clarity, comfortable to play.

I bought these because I was I was interested in something that would be durable and hold it's tuning and be easier on the frets of my guitar. These strings fit that bill and then some. They have exactly the tone I was after for the jazzier sort of groove I like to play in. I love how the flatwounds allow me to move up and down the fretboard without the irritating pops and squeeks of what I used before. I love these strings and so does my Joe Pass Emperor guitar. They are my new go to string.

I can not find better strings to put on a jazz guitar. These are only ones I use for jazz.

I've used these strings for years because I believe that they deliver the best jazz tone of any strings that I've ever used. I've played on a lot of different types and brands of strings too.

Are these strings "totally" ground flat like the D'Addario Chromes?
