I use these on my archtop. They make my guitar a real joy to play. The strings are super smooth and easy to fret and gives off that really good mellow jazz guitar sound. They last forever too. I've been using them for a long time. They're flatten nickel strings.
Very good!

Great feel and tone on PRS Hollowbody 2. The longevity is to be seen, just installed them.

The unwound strings on my semi-hollow body guitar had a very twangy sound. I replaced them with Thomastic Ifeld Jazz strings, and was happy that the guitar now has a warmer, jazzier sound on the upper strings.

Recently put a set of the Jazz Swing 12-50 on my D'Angelico Excel 1 hollow body. WOW what a difference! Even played acoustically the full sound & sustain of these strings flowed out of my guitar. These strings are nickel wrapped flatwound not steel flatwound like other string sets. Smoother & better tone. Now I understand why they cost more. A superior guitar string.
