This Thore model C bassoon is purpose-designed for students. Its short reach with simplified and adjusted key suit small hands of children and young students. Longtime matured maple wood and a high-gloss lacquered finish make this instrument aesthetically appealing, in addition to its tonal characteristics. It has rubber tubes extending, 24 keys, a high-C key, covered wing joint on the second and third holes, as well as a boot joint on the first hole. It also includes an Eb vent key, piano lock key, two rollers, balance holder, leather pads, two standard bocals, silver-plated key work and trimmings, case and cleaning set.
