The design allows you to play the Slapstick with one hand while keeping your other hand free to play other instruments. It is made of solid Tennessee hickory, which produces a sharp attack and is also extremely durable.

    I love my Timber Drum Company hickory slap stick. Absolutely delivered a great whip-crack sound. Comes in a delightful tube package. Not a bad price either.
