    Great mute, it does not effect the sound that would come out your trumpet normally either. One of the best mutes I've ever played with.

    Bought this for Christmas for my grandson and he said it was absolutely perfect for what he needed. He's in several bands in high school, i.e. marching band, jazz band, etc., and this was just what he was wanting. He said it's excellent quality and greatly improves the sound for his trumpet.
