  • It doesn't seem to sit well on the bridge of the violin. :/

The product is placed over two strings of the violin, and pushed down over the bridge piece, to mute the sound of playing. This is usually used in an orchestra setting where your part in the piece is quiet- as not to dominate the melody. This product goes onto the strings okay, but it doesn't push down onto the bridge so well. I think I will have to buy a different one... Or maybe modify this mute with a file or something?

  • I like the way this mute works.

I like the fact that it doesn't fall off easily.

Bought this mute for my daughter to practice violin. She likes it. The mute works pretty well.
