Touring Musicians Trust Traveler Guitar

Description
The ESP-designed ALH-200B active humbucker provides powerful drive and articulate tone, while the visual appointments offer tons of vibe. The Traveler Guitar LTD EC-1 has a carved arch-top Mahogany body, locking tuning machines, gold anodized hardware, a beveled neck/ for easy access to high frets, an adjustable tune-o-matic style bridge, 6-ply binding, a bound neck, and LTD-style fingerboard inlays.
Traveler’s proprietary In-Body Tuning System uses standard tuning machines relocated into the body, eliminating the need for a headstock. As a result, you’ll have the same full-scale playing experience you’re used to on an instrument that’s 24% shorter and 29% percent lighter than a comparable full-sized guitar.
The built-in Traveler Guitar headphone amplifier, allows you to shred at full volume without waking the neighbors. Cycle through clean, boost, overdrive and distortion tones using the custom tap-pot and listen through headphones or plug into your favorite amp. The guitar is also equipped with an aux-in so you can connect your mobile device and play along with your favorite tracks.
The Traveler Guitar LTD EC-1 is the perfect solution for traveling players looking for a modern, high-gain guitar that’s compact and comfortable. Fits easily in airline overhead compartments in the included Deluxe Gig Bag.

The perfect way to interrupt my day

Perfection is a unicorn, and while this is not a unicorn this little gem excels at inspiration and enjoyment. The neck is great being a full 24-3/4" scale, and having the tuners located in the small body rather than a headstock is great for portability and movement. No fear of damage to the headstock or knocking your guitar out of tune. Upon arrival this guitar was pretty much setup. I didn't adjust anything other than tune the guitar. I purchased this to play on my lunch hour out in my vehicle. After a week with temps starting out in the morning around the low 20's to around the 40's during the day, and in the house at night the d string was flat only by a couple of cents. Pretty darn stable, thanks to the roller saddles on the bridge not binding the strings. The headphone amp is a nice touch, but sounds terrible in anything but clean. As for the electronics there isn't a lot of real estate on the small body for something better; however, for the money it's the thought that counts and not why I bought the guitar. The guitar sounds great plugged in, but if you have a RELAY G10 then you are going to need a Hosa GPP-151 to trick the G10 for it to work. The GPP-151 came with my G10 as I use a THR30II. Due to the wiring of the guitar (Active Pickup) the G10 thinks there is a wiring issue. The issue/fix is on Yamaha's forum. Other than that this guitar is lightweight, plays great, looks great, and is a (if not) perfect getaway during my day.
