This is absolutely the best interface in its class

Ive had many budget interfaces from Steinberg to Focusrite to M-Audio, and this bad boy knocks them all out. Immaculately clean design with pristine sounding preamps. It's so much headroom on the input and output, it's literally underpriced for this type of quality. The volt interface series is the the apollo twin minus the console software. The Vintage 610 setting fills your vocals with warmth and character, I was shocked at my dry recordings. And then midi In/Out. Wowwwwwwww!!!

Returning due to garbage iLok software

Specifically bought the Volt1 after research for the hardware, but also because it included some plugins I was eye-balling. After dealing with the antiquated license setup, I'm uninstalling everything and returning the product. Not happy that Universal Audio has 0 live phone or chat.

I purchased the Volt1 when it was on sale. I had a another interface that worked great, but it didn't have a separate volume control for the headphone jack. The Volt1 does. The microphone input levels are very clean and have power behind it. This interface just works. Highly recommend.

Very great Interface. My first one and still using, about to receive my TLM 102 and am excited to try it out. Great interface if you want a bit more quality for your first. Watch videos and keep in mind YouTube doesn't justify the sound quality how it actually does. Enjoy

New to the interface world! Can I use my Marshall 412 for a monitor speaker? Looks like I can use the rear jack? I have a full stack so maybe 1 cab for left, 1 cab for right?

No. A monitor speaker requires power.
