    I like the edge on the end of these roods and just like all Vater sticks they have just the right feel.

    I bought a pair of these to replace the hot rods, and I like the feeling of them on my hands, but im not sure they last as long as the hot rods. I hit my drums somewhat hard, but not metal! i wish they would last longer, I just wanted a quieter sound, and they accomplished that beutifully! I would buy another pair though!
