As I have aged I have found the lighter maple sticks help me keep my dexterity/speed. These sticks are also just a bit longer and help with the reach. Diameter Is just a bit smaller than typical 5A. Overall great stick. Fast, durable with nice "ping" on the the ride cymbal.

Jazz/pop drumming in smaller clubs. I like the bead and the profile of the shoulder, so the balance is right for me and the sound of the bead/drum/cymbal is sharp but warm.
