GET THESE STICKS!
I got these sticks after seeing Shannon Larkin (Godsmack) using them and MAN am I glad I did. I was using Vic Firth's 2BN sticks for years, but these sticks are a little longer and I like the extra. They aren't heavy, they're balanced nicely, and are now my new favorite sticks. If you play jazz, these are too heavy, but other than that, these are perfect!

Vic Firth 5B Nylon
I'm 16 and I'm church drummer, I play 4 times a week in my church. I've been playing in church for around 5 years now, I play for 1 hour and 15 minutes every service. So I bought 2 pairs of these and I thought 5BNs would hold up, first Sunday service and they break in the 2nd song of praise. Next Sunday I use the other pair, again, breaks during performing; it got to the point where I was left one stick from each pair and used those together and once again, they broke while performing. I don't consider myself a hard hitter, mostly because I am mic'd up so there is no need to wack the drum set. I don't know why these sticks broker faster than my 5ANs that would usually last me 4 to 5 weeks. Point is, I'm disappointed in these sticks, I will not be buying anymore 5B drumsticks anymore.

The sticks are obvs 55a so not built for everybody buuut they do have a nice grip and when hitting cymbals create a nice smooth raindrop sound or something like that and the weight distribution makes them excellent for heavy hitters or just regular beats
I will buy this product over again
