Great sticks for any hands!

I was kinda hesitant when i first picked these up because it was unlike any stick in the Vic Firth line up. I went to a practice pad and figured out that theses sticks were incredible! The taper was great in my hands and the sticks had so much clarity! The stick allows you to play very clear in quiet situations and doesnt have too much weight that you cant control double strokes or other rudiments. Great sticks for any situation!

Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks Nylon Tips

I will start off by saying I love the Buddy Rich sticks. I have used the wood tips BR series sticks for a couple years now and they are great. The feel is great and they look awesome with the white finish. With the nylon tips I got great tone on the bell of my ride. The only thing that I noticed was that they broke different then the other Buddy Rich sticks I have used in the past. These sticks would break at the tip just below the Nylon tip and then start cracking back towards the butt of the stick. And honestly it didn't take much to break them or get that crack to start. I will be the first one to admit that I hit REALLY hard and I tend to g through most sticks like they are chop sticks. These ones just broke a little to easy for me. I think Ill stick with wooden tips.

Love the Buddy Rick Signature sticks, a little more weight than you're standard 5A and a little longer too, great for rock or jazz #sweepstakes

I have been playing drums for 38 years now, and have always used a 7A (or thinner) model made by another stick maker. However, very recently, a drum student of mine gifted me a pair of these BR sticks and I immediately fell in love with them. I have always preferred a long taper on a stick and these are just what I needed. The white finish also looks great on stage too. I've finally found my stick.

  • The best sticks I've owned and the only I want to buy.

The tip is bold and not pointy. The shoulder is stout but not bulky. Perfect for heavy handed cymbal crashes and quick playing around the set. I got a stick from Buddy many years ago. I bet he wished then he could have had his own design made back then as he helped Vic created for us today. RIP.

These sticks bear no resemblence to the sticks Buddy Rich gave me after a concert in 1983 and the Vic Firth sticks are not an exact replica. Not even close!
