They are good for playing early in the morning ( quietly)
Perfect solution to bring down the sound level a bit

I got these to give my ears a little break when playing hard and they turned out perfect for that. They do a great job at removing the attack on the snare and toms. I even like the unique sound they give off on the snare. The birch reeds are very durable. A good option to more expensive sound control like mesh heads or low-volume cymbals.
I'm positive I'd never buy these again

Great concept. Great shaft. Feel Great. But they didn't last a 90-monute dinner set. Very low volume, light tough type of playing. The dowels on one of these literally gave out woth 2 songs left in the set. It's like they all gave out at the exact same moment. That one was now unusable, which meant the pair was of no use. Again, Great concept, but they didn't make through a low volume gig with a light touch.

7 measures. That is how long they lasted. 7 measures. Not weeks. Not days. Not even minutes. 7 measures. In 4/4, not even 6/8. Read some bad reviews, but figured that playing lightly on a Worship team would not be a challenge for them. 7 measures.

I use it on an LP Cajon, cross-stick rim shots on a Pearl M-80, and my drum kit. It's tougher than the other brands I've owned.
