Voodoo Lab

collapse expand iconDescription

Voodoo Lab's Pedal Power X4 isolated power supply provides four 9V DC outputs to fuel both standard and high-current pedals. Its cutting-edge hybrid DC transformer utilizes exotic components and optimized filtering to produce exceptionally clean power that reveals your pedals' full sonic potential. Despite its robust performance, Pedal Power X4's ultra-compact and lightweight aluminum chassis fits even the smallest pedalboards for hassle-free touring and fly dates. The Pedal Power X4 is an essential power solution for any pedalboard.

Four Isolated Outputs Provide Studio-Quality Power

Pedal Power X4's four isolated 9V 500mA DC outputs deliver rock-solid, noise-free power to your pedals. Its innovative hybrid DC transformer design incorporates exotic components and linear regulation to produce power that exceeds audiophile standards. Each output is individually filtered and regulated to prevent crosstalk between pedals, even when powering distortion and delay effects on adjacent channels. Pedal Power X4 powers both standard and high-current DSP pedals with headroom to spare.

Ultra-Compact and Lightweight Design is Perfect for Fly Rigs

Despite its robust performance, Pedal Power X4's chassis measures just 5.5x4" and weighs under two pounds. Its compact, lightweight aluminum enclosure mounts to even the smallest pedalboards, making it ideal for fly dates, club gigs and other situations where portability is paramount. Rubber feet provide stability on flat surfaces and the included 3M Dual Lock tape secures Pedal Power X4 to your pedalboard.

Global Compatibility for International Touring

Pedal Power X4's included power supply operates at any AC voltage from 100 to 240V, enabling trouble-free international touring. Its detachable AC power cable terminates in a standard IEC connector for use with cables suitable for the destination country. An optional X-Link cable also allows powering Pedal Power X4 from the 12V DC output of another Voodoo Lab supply for expanded capacity.

Road-Ready Reliability

Pedal Power X4's robust, tour-grade aluminum chassis and components are built to withstand the rigors of the road. Computer-optimized filtering and regulation circuits deliver clean, consistent power even with unstable AC power conditions. Available now at Guitar Center, Pedal Power X4 carries a 5-year warranty and is made in the USA.

I think the voodoo lab 4 bank 9v battery supply is a great unit. Comparatively to others on the market, it's a fairly reasonable price. With that said as time has gone on and my pedalboard for guitar has grown; I now have 2 small 4 bank power supply's where I wish I just had one large one.

  • Good stuff. Small and compact

No problems at all works as advertised. I just needed to add a few more power slots for my pedalboard. The extension cable was a little long for a pedalboard but great if you are just hooking up a few pedals on the floor

  • compact and effective

this is just what I needed for a pre-pedalboard scheme since I'm only planning on using 4 pedals; tuner, reverb, delay and distortion. It is typically that I needed a simple way to provide power to them conveniently and this is perfect for what I need. I haven't cranked the volume yet but it seems to keep noise at bay thus far. It is small, lightweight and effective. My only gripe of course is the price, we could always appreciate lower prices.

  • Works perfectly with my small pedal board.

After trying two other 'value' power supplies from other brands to power my two Boss Pedals (TU3, RC3), I tried this out. There was no more electric hum or static 'shocks' like my other supplies. Voodoo Pedal Power X4 is convenient, versatile, and most importantly, quiet. I won't use my other supplies again.

I only have 2 guitar pedals but alas changing 9v batteries is expensive. I also live in an apartment where the AC power is dirty so I run everything thru a Furman power conditioner and that seems to help the noise my amp makes but I don't ever intend to have more than 2-3 guitar pedals so building a pedal board would be a waste. Can you use this simply plugged into in this case my power conditioner or must I have a pedal board? Finally would this unit come with enough patch cables to connect 2-3 guitar pedals?

You don't need a Pedal Board to use this product.
