    I just bought this 2 x 12 Vox cabinet to pair with the Vox MV 50 AC Nutube amp. After a false start attempt at pairing the two due to a faulty 1/4" cable, I discovered that the MV 50 pairs perfectly with this cab. The all-Vox sound is unmistakable and the simple-to-tweak, 3 dial controls had me sending soaring "chime" throughout an empty 1000 seat auditorium in the early hours of a March morning here in Minnesota. The rig goes from clear clean channel tone to dirty, gritty sustain-for-days that's still probably echoing around that vast, empty space. I can't wait to plug it in again and let 'er rip.

    For people who like open back cabs the Vox 2x12 is among the best. About 1/3 of the back is open which provides ambient sound a way to escape and wrap around while retaining a tight low end response. The 25w greenback is a classic so you can't go wrong. Durable construction too.

    Vox makes an excellent 2x12 speaker cabinet. The Celestion greenback speakers provides that classic rock sound that I was looking for, but this cabinet would be excellent for any genre. The rugged construction is high quality, so I have no doubt this cab will last many years. Buy this without regret.

    Guitar cabs are made of one of four materials: particle board, Medium Density Fiberboard or MDF, hardwood plywood, or solid woods. These pieces are glued together.
