Great sounds at a decent price!

I bought these for another way to get some practice in without disturbing the family, and they work well for that. The sound is actually really good, with the ability to get clean, crunchy, and heavy distortion, although you have to take them off every time you adjust something. The controls are a little difficult to operate and there is definitely a learning curve for getting the right sound! Still a great option for anyone looking for a way to practice quietly pretty much anywhere! Just add batteries (unfortunately not rechargeable)

Easily breakable

While the functionality of these is good, the workmanship is garbage. These aren't built well and the wire on mine frayed and majorly distorted the sound, and these were not used hard. At the price i wouldn't recommend. The company does not stand by their product as well

These are a gift for my husband who loves music and has a good ear. I'm excited for him to be able to use them with his new amp as he practices electric guitar.

use it to practice anywhere in the house without carrying out the amplifier all the time. the most important thing is that you don't disturb other people around you and it's very light weight. the sound is more than expected and clear, other thing is that I can use it in all my guitars. very satisfied with the price also.

  • Great features and value!

Audio Technica and Vox paired up to bring the Amp Plug experience to an all in one unit. I have/had all the guitar Vox Amp plugs, and loved them until they literally broke. These are a great replacement.

  • Great guitar headphones.

The VOX VGH AC30 is designed primarily as a headphone amp and wouldn’t act as an output for the RC-500 looper in the typical setup.

I am having trouble changing the battery. How do I open the battery compartment?

I am having trouble changing the battery. How do I open the battery compartment?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
The battery compartment is on the left earcup (the one with the cable attached). Hold the left earcup in your hand. Look for a small sliding cover on the back or underside of the earcup (it’s usually integrated very subtly). Slide the cover outward or lift it gently – you may need to apply light pressure with your fingernail. The compartment should pop open, revealing the AAA battery inside. Remove the old battery and insert a new one, aligning the + and - polarity correctly (it should be indicated inside the compartment). Close the cover by pressing or sliding it back into place until it clicks. Be gentle; the plastic can feel a bit stiff but should open without excessive force.
