Use with hummingbird ukelale and sounds clean, waiting for Epiphone acoustic/electric guitar to arrive for the real test.

I just bought a Washburn Heritage 10 Series 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar. I was looking for a decent inexpensive acoustic guitar amp to go with it. I decided to go with this unit because of the good reviews and the "Vox" name. So far, so good!

I bought the Vox VX 50 AG, to use as a practice amp at home. I've been more than satisfied with it's tone and volume. It's a nice compact body size, and is easy to move around because of the low weight and sturdy carrying handle. The controls are easily accessible on top, and have a quality feel to them. Overall, a very good amp that I would purchase again, and recommend to others!

Small, light weight, easy controls and WOW what great tone and volume! Would never guess that much sound could come out of an amp so small and light. Two channels for guitar and mic, variable effects for the guitar channel--chorus, reverb and echo--and reverb for mic/voice. Versatile and functional, great for small venues and practicing. Glad I purchased.

I have the Vox VX50 AG amp that I use with my acoustic guitar. I just bought my first electric guitar from guitar center (D'Angelico Premier Series Grateful Dead Limited-Edition 50th Anniversary Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Satin Walnut). Would this amp be appropriate for this guitar or would another be better. I was looking at the VOX AC10 C1 amp.
It'll "work" but it's voiced for acoustic. It will sound pretty lifeless with an electric. Please give us a call to better help you out – 877-687-5403submitted6 years ago
