WD Music B5 Bigsby Vibrato Tailpiece

I purchased the vibrato (WD Bigsby) and I have to say it is rock solid. I installed this on a Telecaster, which is a simple guitar design wise but, what I need when I'm playing gigs is for guitars/amps to work.

My first real guitar, an epiphone, had a bigsby on it. i thought it was a great idea at first, and it was alright. But it's not that great, and if you bend up it will ruin your tone beyond belief. It looks...So...Good though. Bending down is fine, it will just snap back to tune fine, but this only offers relatively shallow bombs... But this is good if you like a little light vibrato.

I was skeptical about a B5 from WD until I received it. This is the genuine B5 and works as though it was a factory option on my SG. It was a snap to install, and tuning has not been affected--in fact, it stays in tune as well as it did before the upgrade. Coupled with a roller bridge, the WD Bigsby B5 gives professional performance at an entry level price. Not only does it perform as expected, but looks every bit as "Bigsby" as it should. Rugged looks and precision performance means this unit won't let you down! The price savings for the WD model is worth it! Don't buy a B50 from a Chinese manufacturer when you can have this "Made in the U.S.A." product on your axe! No dive bombs allowed! Follow the recommendations for use and it won't let you down!

I recently purchased a WD Music B5 Bigsby Vibrato Tailpaiece from GC for half the cost of a regular Bigsby. This is the 3rd application of a bigsby unit I have made over the last couple of years and the WD B5 from GC is just fantastic. Installation was easy (I'd done 2 before) and the results were incredible. The WD B5 operates as smooth as butter and the guitar stays in tune (once strings are initially stretched as you do anytime you install new strings). The added weight to the guitar increases sustain and tone, and the look is amazing. On a five-star scale, I give this unit a 6!
