Walrus Audio Pedal Play: Polychrome Analog Flanger

Description
The Walrus Audio Polychrome Flanger effects pedal is an innovative stompbox that adds a kaleidoscope of modulated tones to your signal chain. This true-bypass, all-analog flanger features an intuitive dual-voice design, allowing guitarists and bassists to achieve both traditional flanging and complex vibrato sounds with ease. Its classic signal path and premium components deliver the warmth and character of vintage gear, while road-ready construction ensures years of inspired performance.
Dual-Voice Flanger Provides a Spectrum of Sounds
At the heart of the Polychrome Flanger is its dual-voice design, which offers two distinct flavors of flanging. In the down position, you'll find a full, traditional flange. Flip the switch up and you're treated to a notched flange with less low end for a more complex tone. You can also dial the feedback to minimum, crank the D-F-V knob to maximum and select the up position on the voice switch to achieve a unique pitch vibrato. This versatile tonal palette provides inspiration for any genre or style.
Intuitive Controls Make Dialing In Your Sound Simple
Despite its sophisticated circuitry, the Polychrome Flanger effects pedal is incredibly easy to use. Its thoughtfully designed controls allow you to quickly craft your perfect flange or vibrato sound. The D-F-V knob blends between a dry signal, traditional flange and pitch vibrato. The shape switch selects between sine, triangle or random waveforms to modulate the delay line. And the voice switch chooses between two distinct flange voices. Within seconds, you'll be dialing in lush, analog-inspired sounds that spark your creativity.
Road-Ready Design Built to Withstand the Rigors of Touring
While the Polychrome Flanger delivers vintage-inspired tone in spades, its construction is utterly modern. Rugged, die-cast metal housing and premium components ensure this pedal will stand up to the demands of touring and session work for years to come. Top-mounted jacks and a relay-based soft switch provide seamless integration into your pedalboard and help reduce noise. When inspiration strikes, you can depend on the Polychrome Flanger to capture the sounds in your head without fail.
Add Depth and Dimension to Your Tone
For guitarists and bassists seeking to add depth, movement and nuance to their tone, the Polychrome Flanger is an ideal solution. Its intuitive dual-voice design, premium all-analog signal path and rugged construction provide a perfect blend of tonal versatility, vintage-inspired warmth and dependability. Experience the Polychrome Flanger pedal—and ignite your creativity—today.

I really like the versatility of this flange pedal, you can achieve any type of flanger you want perfectly after spending minimal time messing around with the controls. Walrus audio tends to make high quality products so I expect this pedal to last me a long time. If there's a flange sound you are looking for, this pedal can do it. The artwork is also very attractive on this pedal which is always a plus.

This is a great flanger pedal with tons of great tonal options. The paint job caught my eye, but the quality of sound and ease of use got me to buy.

The blend knob on the Polychrome got my notice because other flangers tend to be too assertive, and it works incredibly well! Police, Cure, Cult, Pretenders, et al are easy to dial up. I find myself using one setting for most of the knobs and then adjusting the blend only -- super simple. I would give it 5 stars but it didn't include rubber feet/bumpers... c'mon man! Otherwise, awesome pedal!
