Description
The WA-8000 large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone delivers the open high end, transparent midrange and uncanny detail that defined an era. Meticulously engineered to meet exacting specifications, the WA-8000 boasts premium components for a sound as timeless as the hits it has captured. Musicians and engineers will appreciate its ability to render the subtlest details of any performance.
Custom-Designed Capsule Captures Every Nuance
At the heart of the WA-8000's stunning resolution is a bespoke K67-style capsule crafted from solid brass. Reverse-engineered to match the frequency response of its legendary inspiration, the capsule is highly sensitive to capture the full depth and dimension of any source. Vocals come through with a polished, radio-ready sheen while acoustic instruments are reproduced with visceral realism.
Precision-Crafted Heat Sink Ensures Peak Performance
A custom heat sink draws warmth away from the tube and internal components, allowing the WA-8000 to operate at an ideal temperature for the lowest noise and distortion. The heat sink not only optimizes performance but also simplifies tube replacement to minimize downtime. Musicians and studios alike will appreciate the WA-8000's consistently pristine results and reliability.
Authentic Tone Comes From Premium Components
At the heart of the WA-8000 is a carefully selected NOS 6AU6 tube and custom Lundahl transformer. Together, these high-quality components shape the open high end, focused midrange and rich lows that defined the WA-8000's inspiration. Premium components also grant the WA-8000 an impressively low self-noise, allowing it to capture every nuance of a performance without coloration.
Premium Cable Delivers a Pristine Signal
A high-quality GAC-7 cable from Gotham Audio connects the WA-8000 to its power supply. Built to the same exacting standards as the microphone itself, the premium cable minimizes signal loss and interference for recordings as clean as the WA-8000's renowned sound.

I've had this mic for over 2 years now. At first I was a little worried I made a mistake because I didn't give it time to fully "warm" up. In a forum someone mentioned letting the tube warm up for about 3 hours (or more) prior to use. I thought that was a bit excessive at first, but I tried it. Boy I am glad I did. The initial shrillness disappears and it presents and VERY nice upper mid tone that is simply lovely. If you get this mic, do yourself a favor and let that tube cook! I am pairing this with a WA-273 and I couldn't be happier. Great mic.
Super Clean, Bright, and colorful!

I needed a mic that matched the qualities that my voice has, and this checked the box! I initially tried to see if If there's was a display somewhere to try but I just went for it. Super happy I did! It's one of the best mics I've tried thus far and it's a great addition to my setup. Thanks Warm! Also MAKE SURE YOU LET THE MIC WARM UP! It's makes it sound so much better!

I can't properly describe the benefits of this mic in technical terms, but I love it. I've been a recording artist for a long time. I've used Nuemann, Manley, Bluebird, AKG, and others. The sound I get from this mic is the best I've had. This is not a fake review. My name is Zac, and I highly recommend this mic. I got my from the Guitar Center in LA Mesa, in San Diego.

Does the PSU of the warm audio wa8000 has a volt selector? 115v and 230v ? I hope i get a response. thank you
Yes, the power supply unit (PSU) of the Warm Audio WA-8000 microphone includes a voltage selector switch that allows you to choose between 110V and 230V, accommodating different regional power standards. This switch is located near the IEC power inlet on the PSU and is typically preset to match the voltage of the country where the microphone was purchased.
