I love this guitar. It play very well. It is my first 12 string, and have really enjoyed it. The electronics are fine, and sound great thru my amp. It also stays in tune. If you are looking for an inexpensive but great sounding guitar I highly recommend this one.
The specs on the MF site are incorrect

I bought this based on the nut width listed on the MF site as 1.75 inches. It is actually 1.875 inches, which is an eighth of an inch wider than I was expecting, and a quarter inch wider than the rest of my guitars. This made it really uncomfortable for me to play, and really jarring when switching to it from my Rickenbacker 12-string. I sent it back.
Great example of lost cost high quality!

I'm a guitar enthusiast/hobbyist who likes to have fun at home or jam with friends occasionally. I haven't really played much in years, but I have performed publicly a few times, and I was in a folk group at my church about 35 years ago. Once I get back into it I'd like to start playing small venues. I'm amazed at how far along guitar technology (especially acoustic) has advanced over the years. I really like the built in EQs and tuners, but you still have the option to mike it if you want. This guitar is everything I'm looking for in a 12-string. The action is nice and low so I don't have to press hard which is great since each finger is touching 2 strings; this makes barre chords easier too. I love the all-wood construction; I wouldn't settle for anything less. I can tell that a lot of thought and precision engineering went into the construction of this instrument. It sounds brilliant with or without an amp, but I'm going to change the strings to medium gauge because I prefer a deeper, less tinny tone. The only drawback is no second strap button, but that does not change my overall appreciation for this guitar.
